Goodbye DC, hello NYC

We left Washington DC after 2½ wonderful days in a historic city. The extra day was truly needed and in the end all turned out for the best. We saw the usual sights, visited the must-see museums but foremost got to know our hosts. So thank you Luther and Doris - you're the best.
